Ski Experience and Outdoor Enthusiast

Hi, I’m Marta, 30 years old, born and raised in Sestriere, a renowned ski resort nestled in the western Italian Alps. From a young age, I was immersed in the world of skiing, playing in the snow and racing competitively until I turned 18.

Today, my true passion is the mountains, which I experience in every way possible. Over the past 10 years, I’ve dedicated myself primarily to freeride and ski touring. These activities perfectly combine the thrill of “gliding” on snow with the excitement of exploring remote, untouched spots in nature.

In the summer, I manage my family’s restaurant, located right on the ski slopes of Sestriere. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me scaling mountains or traveling across Europe in my van. I am fluent in Italian, English, and French.

International Coaching Experience

After becoming a certified ski instructor, I gained international experience, starting in Australia as a coach for a local ski team. I then worked as a ski instructor in France, beginning in Les Deux Alpes, followed by the Three Valleys, and eventually settling in Tignes (Espace Killy), where I stayed for five years.

In 2016, I graduated with a degree in Sport Science from the University of Turin. For the past eight years, I’ve been based in Espace Killy, where I’ve come to feel like a local—especially when it comes to discovering hidden powder stashes on snowy days 😉.
