Ski Experience and Outdoor Enthusiast
He was born in Bariloche, Argentina, and approached the snow from early childhood. Bringing together his parents’ skills (mother Owner and Manager of a ski school and father trainer and ex Argentine ski champion) Niki immediately shows a great talent in Alpine skiing. Between the ages of 12 and 15 he literally dominates the southern hemisphere in slalom and giant slalom competitions.
He competed in the United States and wins several races also in Europe, earning a place internationally in the FIS championship. Then suddenly the turning point; at the age of 16 Nicolas begins the adventure of mountaineering embracing what initially made him fall in love with skiing: off-piste and jumps. Then he devoted himself completely to freeride.
He spent several winters in the French Alps drawing his lines and takes part in some competitions. A little later he immediately became one of the shining stars of the Freeride World Tour in which during the 2012/2013 season he obtained third place in the Verbier stage and reached sixth position in the general classification. Today, after participating in the most important contests (including the FWTs) and various successes, Niki certainly represents one of the reference points of freeride.
International Coaching Experience
He was champion in the races, now he has all the credentials to really be a reference point in ski teaching and guiding. Niki has double certification (French and Argentinian) of ski instructor and race coach.
He has dual Argentine-French citizenship which allows him to spend the winters of the southern hemisphere in Bariloche (Argentina) and the winters of the northern hemisphere in Les Arcs (France).
Always in the cold to follow the passion of his life: freeskiing. After working several winters for the ESF (French National Ski School), he started working as freelance ski instructor 5 years ago and definitely pushes ski lessons to the next level.
